Information Age and DiversityQ welcome you to the inaugural Women in IT Virtual Summit.

The last few months have, without a doubt, been a rollercoaster ride for everyone. Many will have experienced change, frustration, loss and transformation; but also, found creative and innovative moments. Global economies, industries, workforces and families have experienced the Covid-19 pandemic in different ways and we are all working to find a ‘new normal’. With forced remote working schemes, virtual meetings, new digital platforms, furloughs, frozen budgets and redundancies, there are a lot of emerging factors to be managed and re-evaluated. Unfortunately, most of the time these changes will affect talent, development and diversity and inclusion.

However, now more than ever leaders must prioritize inclusion. Why? Because organizations are much more likely to be innovative if they seek input from a diverse group of employees who approach problems with a varied perspective. We cannot allow the work that has already been done, and what has already been achieved, to be halted or hindered.

Good news; we are still here for you! The Women in IT London Summit has been transformed into a virtual event and we will continue our work together for gender parity and greater inclusion, with the current climate in mind. This year, you will have the opportunity to hear how IT leaders from a variety of industries are overcoming this global challenge. Our speakers will share case studies of how they, their teams and their organisations have adapted their management styles and team dynamics.

Join us on this virtual journey and learn about some of the creative initiatives our speakers and their organisations have been working on; we encourage you to engage, meet and network with our community
