Global economies, industries, workforces and families have experienced the Covid-19 pandemic in different ways and we are all working to find a ‘new normal’. With forced remote working schemes, virtual meetings, new digital platforms, furloughs, frozen budgets and redundancies, there are a lot of emerging factors to be managed and re-evaluated. Unfortunately, most of the time these changes will affect talent, development and diversity and inclusion.
However, now more than ever leaders must prioritize inclusion. Why? Because organizations are much more likely to be innovative if they seek input from a diverse group of employees who approach problems with a varied perspective. We cannot allow the work that has already been done, and what has already been achieved, to be halted or hindered.

The Women in IT London Summit has been transformed into a virtual event and we will continue our work together for gender parity and greater inclusion, with the current climate in mind.
