The end of all-male boards was a cause for celebration last year, particularly at a time when Covid-19 is threatens our progress in women’s equality. There is clearly more work to do to bring female representation up to parity on those boards. In this exclusive masterclass, Fiona Hathorn, CEO of Women on Boards UK, will share insights and how to tips to get your first or next board position. The session will cover:

  • Why should you consider becoming a member of a board?
  • How do you become a board member?
  • What should you be looking for when considering an organisation?
  • Corporate vs not-for-profits – what is the value for you and the organisation?

It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that agile teams produce better outcomes. But is that really as true as we think? Is it working to an agile format, or something else that makes these teams really work?

It’s been almost 20 years since the Agile Manifesto was created. How has it changed the way we work? Is the way forward about what we do, how our teams look or how we think?

This session presents years of research done with many TW teams - and a way forward, intertwined with the Agile Manifesto. We give a vision for the future that builds on what the best teams already do - but often do unknowingly. By making these actions a mindset, conscious and thoughtful, we can have huge impacts.

Speaker:
Dr. J Harrison. Harbinger of Change. Thoughtworks.
